Can I use my own bike?
Yes, but make sure it’s really ready for rough conditions like muddy single tracks and rocky paths. Roads can get rather lonely in the north of Norway. Please note that we might not be able to help in case of technical problems so please bring spare parts and tools. Using your own bike will not reduce the Participant/Companion Fee.
What do I have to pay?*
For the 2019 Arctic Edition you’ll ride for strongly reduced prices. It’s almost full though.
2020: We’ll gladly give you price information after contacting us. Because it’s a personalized small scale adventure with many options we don’t work with 1 fixed price. We will try to work out a package that fits your budget. Roughly, think about 150-175 Euro per day (including rental Santos gravel bike).
What is not included in the price?
Flights, ferries, optional all weather package, Wahoo Element, training, insurances.
Do I have to ride the whole section?
Because we pass many local airports it might be possible to shorten your challenge. Maybe you can do this together with a friend, both riding a part of the section.
How do I get to Namsos Airport?
You will probably fly with a stop over in Oslo or Stockholm. We’ll be near Namsos Airport at the campsite to help you out when you get there.
How do I get back home?
After we have arrived at the North Cape you can take a bus from Honningsvag to Alta every few hours. We might be able to help you with our expedition camper, but can’t guarantee anything. Check the flight schedule. You will probably have a stop over at Oslo or Stockholm before flying home.
Can I ask a friend to join for a few days?
Yes, friends can stay with us for an extra fee. Your friend has to bring his or her own bike. Please note that we might not be able to help in case of technical problems so he or she must bring spare parts and tools as well.
